Visa Process
- Study Visa Decision may take 4 to 12 weeks & sometimes 3 to 6 months.
- Student must have admission letter from DLI to obtain PAL letter (Provincial Attestation Letter
- Apply online through IRCC portal & upload all required documents
- Pay the processing fees online CAD 150 & CAD 85 Biometric fees
- Once application is submitted, student should complete Biometric by providing finger prints with updated photograph and ID, Passport at the Visa Application Centre.
- Complete medical exam proscribed by IRCC from their panel physician https://secure.cic.gc.ca/PanelPhysicianMedecinDesigne/en/Home
- Student may track decision/status online on IRCC portal
- On the visa approval student will have to submit their passport for final visa stamp

Terms & Conditions for Post-Study Work Permit (PGWP):
- As per new rule February 15, 2024 international student can apply for 3 years work permit after their Master degree.
- Graduates (Bachelor Degree) from DLI institutions will get 3 years work permit after completion of the programme.
- As per the new rule student must score or above level in all four modules (Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking).
- Students must apply for PGWP within 180 days of receiving the course completion from DLI.
- Some programmes related to any of these field (Agriculture, Healthcare, Education, Agri-food, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) done of Diploma/Advanced diploma/PG Diploma level from DLI and has CIP Code (Classification of Instructional Programs) are also eligible for PGWP.
- 1-year PGWP is for course length of 1-year
- If the programme length is between to 1 to 2 years the PGWP is given as per the course length.
- Programme length is more than 2 years then PGWP is for 3 years.
