DET (DUO LINGO ENGLISH TEST)
DET is completely Computer based test taken at home. So far one of the most convenient designed test formats and very cost effective. This test is widely accepted by USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Dubai, Asia. Student are helped with end number of practice test sets for all four modules Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking. This test long for 1 hour & result is declared in 48 hours. All you need strong internet connectivity and a Lap-top. To complete the test, student have to follow strict protocol otherwise the score will not be declared. With the help of AI, multiple human proctors detect instances of rule breaking. As per new guidelines, student have to scan the room using mobile camera (as per the guidelines).
DET Listening
Listening test is for 60 seconds, where student have to write after audio stops. Another format is listening the audio and response by choosing correct answer, this is MCQ section.
DET Reading
Reading test comprises in different types of question, fill in the blanks (to complete the sentence), identify the correct English word in 5 seconds, typing missing letters to complete the paragraphs in 10 seconds, there could be 15-20 words to write in 3 min.
DET Writing
For writing task student have to summarize the conversation in 75 seconds. 2nd is picture or image based where student have given 1 min to describe the image. There is one interactive section where student have to write about given topics in 5 min.
DET Speaking
See and say it loudly is the speaking test in 15 seconds. Another task is a topic based where student have to speak about 90 seconds on the given topic.
Over All Score – 160
For admission in Diploma or Bachelor degree 100 to 110 Over-all score is required.
For admission in Master degree 120 to 130 Over-all score is required.
